sound baths

A sound bath is a full-body meditative practice that involves lying down and listening to sound waves that 'wash' over the body. A crystal singing bowl's sounds resonate in your body, guiding you to a state of deep relaxation. A 2022 study revealed that sound baths result in an improvement in spiritual well-being and a decrease in tension and depression. (Source)

Tips for enjoying your soundbath:

• Wear comfortable clothes

• Bring a yoga mat and water bottle

• Optional: bring blankets, pillows, a sleep mask, socks or other props that will make you comfortable.
• Phones should be in airplane mode throughout the experience.

History of Singing Bowls:

"The scholarly consensus is that “Tibetan” singing bowls and sound baths are a thoroughly Western invention and their alleged Tibetanness a modern myth. There is no credible historical evidence, whatsoever, of Tibetans ever having used singing bowls." - ‘Tibetan singing bowls’ are not Tibetan. Sincerely, a Tibetan person
