Americana Soul duo Freddy and Francine began writing I AM AFRAID TO DIE! back in 2019. By the time to album was ready for release in 2020, the world was in the grip of a global pandemic. To promote the album safely and creatively, I brainstormed with the band to design and produce the I AM AFRAID TO DIE! survival kit, featuring items that cleverly tie into songs on the record and a hotline where people can confess their deepest fears. The duo hand-delivered the boxes across Nashville wearing hazmat suits.
